No. Pull stud first and it will disengage from whole. Then pull arm just enough for the stud not to go back to locking position. Then use two hands to pull arm.
Does a ratchet stud assembly hold itself in the open position so that you can pull on the main arm with both hands
We we recently purchased a 2000 Safari the awning has not been used much and the main arm on the awning is extremely hard to pull open. I want a stud assembly that will stay open so I can pull the main arm with both hands then turn it to lock it in position. I would also welcome any suggestions you might have about how to make that arm work more smoothly. Thanks
